Urban Design as Public Policy: A Case of Accommodating the Policy Shift for 24 Streets of Nagpur City

Apoorva Kulkarni is an Assistant Professor at Lokmanya Tilak Institute of Architecture and Design Studies, Koparkhairane, Navi Mumbai. She is a B.Arch graduate from Visveswaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur, and has a post graduate degree in Urban Design from School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal. Her topic of interest for research has always been the study of “Power and Urban Form”; power here means the power of decision-makers of a city. She has been into the academics in architecture since past three years guiding students in the subjects related to Urban Studies.
