Looking Through the View Finder: Blending Architectural Paradoxes for Sharper Sustainability Focus

Aparna Dudwadkar Dixit and Vivek Dixit

Aparna Dudwadkar Dixit, Architect planner, practiced landscape design for almost a decade before being a faculty member in Marathwada Mitramandal’s College of Architecture in Pune where she was the principal for two years. She holds a Master’s degree in Town Planning and guides research students. Her research papers have won awards & honors at national & international levels. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Architecture from SMMCA, Nagpur.

Vivek Dixit’s 24 years of architectural practice includes many prestigious residential projects, including institutional, industrial and award winning individual homes. Vivek’s sensitive and creative approach to environmental issues is illustrated in all his projects with the use of technologically advanced sustainable solutions in his architectural design to expedite green ethics. He has published several award winning research papers. He is a visiting faculty for the M.Arch. course in Sustainable Architecture.
