Sebastiano Brandolini, Italy

Born in 1959 in Italy. Graduated in 1982 from The Architectural Association, London. From 1982 to1996 worked as editor of the Italian architecture magazine “Casabella”; since then acted as architectural correspondent and writer for many magazines, specializing in the evolution of cities and landscapes. Has written monographs about various architects, including the Dutch Jo Coenen, the Finnish Gullichsen Kairamo Vormala, and the Italian Alberto Ponis. Has written extensively about his hometown, Milan and the experience of its metropolitan region. Has taught in different architecture schools in Italy, including Milan, Venice, Genoa and Ferrara; since 2009 he is teaching Landscape Architecture at the ETH in Zurich – Switzerland. His architectural practice focuses primarily on private projects.
