SMART STREETS
Studio intension was: Upgrading & Enhancing the city fabric by using place making elements, reorganizing existing activities & introducing new activities, elements or use.
Objectives were :
- To imagine the streets as Safe, Inclusive, Healthy & Happy public Spaces.
- To understand the streetscapes of the city, research on it, its evolution, history, understand its character & use, identify the issues, document its characteristics, analyse it & provide innovative ideas through quick, short term, low cost & easy to build solutions by creating universally accessible, small public places along the roads, removing hurdles & unified Avenue like experience creation etc.
